Newsletter Announcement: EWB-UIUC Logo Design Contest
OfflineCalling all aspiring graphic designers! Do you think you have the design skills to give our chapter's EWB logo a personalized touch? We're looking for a new design for our chapter's logo that gives it the feel of the U of I. You have complete freedom in the design of the logo except that it must contain the EWB-USA logo within it and you must follow the guidelines that have been laid out below. For an example of a logo that is in accordance with EWB guidelines (but lame), see the Rocky Mountain Professionals' webpage. You can find a high quality EWB-USA logo by searching for "ewb usa logo" on google. The prize for the contest is TBA. Good luck!
Please follow the guidelines below:
1. Entrants must be undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
2. Entries must be received by 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2008.
3. Entries must contain the official EWB-USA logo in its entirety without modification to the globe or text.
4. Artwork submissions must be made electronically to Tessa Colbrese at tcolbrese [at] gmail [dot] com with the following information in the body of the e-mail:

Email
5. The Prize is TBA.
6. The design shall not infringe any intellectual property rights of others including copyrights and trademark rights.
8. You may enter as many designs as you like.
9. By submitting your design you give Engineers without Borders the right to evaluate and compare your design against the designs of others in order to choose winners of this design contest.
10. Winners of this design contest will be required to assign all right, title and interest, including copyright and trademark rights, in the design to Engineers without Borders in exchange for the prize. Winners understand that Engineers without Borders shall have the exclusive ownership right to use the winning designs as is or modified, for any purpose (including but not limited to the design of a t-shirt and promotional materials), and without further compensation to the winners.
11. By submitting a design for consideration, you declare that you are the sole creator of the design and the design is original except for the use of Engineers without Borders owned trademarks within the design
