University Sustainability Fee Project Ideas

The Student Sustainability Committee is soliciting applications to appropriate the $2 Clean Energy Technology Fee and the $5 Sustainability Fee. Submit your ideas! All campus grous are eligible to apply. Current projects supported in part by the fee are:

UIUC Biodiesel Initiative Photovoltaics and green roof for the new Business Instructional Facility

Also F&S is interested in help with 2 project proposals: 1) replacing asbestos floor tiles with cork tiles (a sustainable, natural material instead of vinyl) in academic buildings and 2) proposals for improving and extending campus bike paths. For more information contact Stephanie Bogle at
