Anyone need electrical engineering help?
Our project will likely require a small solar panel and battery to power an intermittent use fluid pump ( approx 15% on, 85% off), and I'm curious about low cost options for charge controllers on the battery. The concern is to store enough energy for a day or two of poor solar irradiation, without causing any damage to the battery by short cycling it as a result. Any thoughts about the appropriate way to go about this?
Aprovecho has circuit stuff. We already have what we need for the most part, but it could definitely be improved. Some EE help would be nice for the op amps and thermistors we're trying to implement. We won't have a project meeting until after Sep. 28, though.

We are currently trying to asses the EE needs of other projects to find common needs. We think some of our efforts on the Maharashtra project may be portable to other projects. If not we may still be able to help as the Maharashtra project is composed of mostly EE's. So does anyone need circuit design?
