Technology and Management Case Competition Sessions

The November 4 session will begin at 4:45 for engineering students to learn about scholarship funds for the trip, and 5:00 pm for all others. It will take place in 243 Wohlers Hall. The guest speaker will be Dr. Richard E. Warner, Professor and Director of the Office of Sustainability. He will discuss the Office of Sustainability and near term steps toward a more sustainable environmental footprint for the University of Illinois.

The November 11 session will begin at 5:00 pm in 243 Wohlers Hall. The guest speaker will be Professor Angus Rockett. The subject of his presentation will be "Meeting the Carbon-free Energy Challenge". Professor Rockett suggests that Renewable Energy Sources for Fuels and Electricity by Johansson et.al. (Island Press) is good resource material and has loaned us a copy of the book. It can be viewed in 470 K Wohlers Hall and possibly from the undergraduate library.
