EWB Weatherization Workshop

EWB is offering a home weatherization training on Saturday, Oct.10 from 12-3pm.  Come join us at 703 S. State St. in Champaign and learn how to reduce your energy consumption.  This will be a hands on activity, so please dress appropriately.  The Green west line lets off at the corner of Neil and Green and it is only a 4 block walk from there.

St. Louis City Museum Trip

There will be a trip to the St. Louis CIty Museum (http://www.citymuseum.org/home.asp) on Oct 17 leaving at 12pm and returning late in the evening.  The museum is basically a giant jungle-gym made out of reclaimed materials. Tickets will be $6 if we have more than 15 people, and $10 if we have less than that (plus we will split gas.  We can grab dinner in the city and go see the arch or anything else people would like to do  Please email Kim (kmp122 [at] gmail [dot] com) if you are interested.

Illinois Biodiesel Initiative

Guatemala Project Looking for a P.E.

Nigeria Project Looking for Professional Mentor

The Nigeria project is looking for a professional mentor to help guide them through the final phases of the project. If you know anyone that is working with water distribution systems in their jobs, please contact Laura Fierce (lfierce2 [at] gmail [dot] com) as soon as possible.

Passive House Institute

The Passive House Institute is looking for student volunteers / workers to help them with producing a video proceeding of their conference in Urbana-Champaign from 10/16-10/17. The times needed are: 
 
8:30-10:30am , 1pm-5:30pm on Friday 10/16
8:30am-12pm , 1pm-5pm on Saturday 10/17
