Welcome to the Events Committee!
This committee is responsible for organizing EWB activities in the Champaign-Urbana area. These include educational events like lectures and workshops, outreach events at local high schools and children’s museums, and social events like movies, bar crawls, and barbecues. Events in the past have included building a solar cooker, teaching Kids at Orpheum museum about fuel cells and solar energy, and lectures on the topics of green building, sustainability on campus, and global water resources. But the possibilities are endless!
We are looking for people who like to have fun, and want to see events they want to go to! Come plan the various social and educational events that EWB has on campus! We meet weekly in the EWB office (110C Engineering Hall) on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM. Stop by or attend an event!
