  • What: Bio-diesel powered electrification     
  • Where:The rural village of Bhadakamandara, India
  • Status: The initital site assessment for the project was completed during the summer of 2004 and the implementation portion of the project was completed during the Summer of 2006.  Presently the Orissa team is working to maintain regular contact with other project participants in India in order to know the status of the equipment and its usage.  The goal of this is to judge the feasability of reproducing the work done in Bhadakamdara on a larger scale in India.
