The Maharshtra project is aimed at improving the lives of the residents of Maharashtra, India, and more recently Karnataka, India, by enhancing their ability to access renewable energy from bicycle and wind generators as well as photovoltaic arrays. EWB members at the University of Illinois work on projects related to power circuitry to try and meet efficiency goals set by an engineer in the field. All projects include hands-on circuit construction and testing.
The Maharashtra team is seeking electrical engineering students at any level who are interested in circuits or power electronics and would like to get hands-on experience while working for a charitable cause.
If you are interested in working on the Maharashtra project, come to a meeting and/or email Hunter at the above address!
We are going to the power lab.
