The solar fridge group is a Mechanical Engineering Senior Design project that seeks to design and build a prototype refrigerator that can be used off-grid in Haiti. This fridge will be designed to cost around $500 and have approximately 6 cubic feet of refrigeration space, and will most likely be a chemical absorption system.
